| Description of the problem | Air bag light is repeatedly coming on and off while driving indicating a fault in the air bag system. From reading about this issue online, there appear to be several vehicles with same problem where the clock spring in the steering wheel is faulty and may compromise the air bag. Jeep is refusing to fix it outside of a 3yr or 36000 mile warranty so owners are left to fix the issue involving air bags themselves. |
