| Description of the problem | I have been experiencing the so called death wobble. At speeds between 60-70mph, when i hit an imperfection in the road, my steering violently shakes from side to side. At this point, it will only stop if i slow down to speeds below 20mph. This has put me in several dangerous situations on the highway, as i suddenly need to stop my jeep, regardless of what lane i am in. The steering stabilizer has been replaced, and has not changed the problem. My jeep is stock; no lifts, aftermarket wheels, etc. I am getting this wobble once every few trips on a highway. *js |
