Description of the problemUnder normal driving conditions or even while the vehicle is at a complete stop the front passenger side seat belt will lock up. If the front passenger (my wife) sits back the belt will only tighten. The only way for the seat belt to release and be worn properly again is the belt must be removed and put into a rest position. There is no braking and hard turns or acceleration being done at anytime that this happens. After taking it to the dealer several times i am only told that the problem can not be reproduced and nothing can be done. It happens randomly and usually while we are driving down the highway. Not a good time to have to remove the seat belt in order for it to work properly again. Note; there is no sudden movements being done by passenger. This has been happening for the better part of two years now.
