| Description of the problem | We have a 2008 jeep wrangler, 2 door. 4x4 . Whenever we fill the gas tank with the automatic shutoff att he pump engaged, gas overflows out of the car before automatically shutting off. This happens all the time and various gas stations throughout the year. Now we have to manually listen to the gas flowing in and stop it from filling up entirely. This is a problem at full service stations, like getty, or when we are in new jersey (full service is mandatory in nj). This is not only a major inconvenience but this has to be a safety hazard. Does someone have to die before chrysler/jeep recognizes this as a defect. |
