| Description of the problem | I own a 2008 jeep wrangler where fuel spills out of the filler port during the refueling process. This condition occurs when the fuel tank is filled to the full or nearly full level and the gas pump automatically shuts or clicks off. This occurs every time i fill up with gas, and every time it happens, a significant amount of gasoline is splashed all over the driver side rear corner of the vehicle, the ground, and sometimes the person filling the tank. It first happened roughly 600 miles after the bumper to bumper warranty expired, so the dealership currently will not cover the repair. |
