| Description of the problem | 2008 jeep wrangler x. Lately when i fill up the gas tank it overflows. I've had the jeep since september 2007. The last 4 fillups this has been an issue at multiple stations. It overflows if i hold it manually, or use the locking mechanism on the fuel gun. It overfills even when it "clicks" off. This has to be dangerous. I am now in the habit of putting in less gas so as not to deal with gasoline spilling out of my tank and all down my fenders and bumpers. This is not safe. There are many complaints out there. Chrysler should issue a recall for this problem. Gasoline fumes and cars are not something that should be taken lightly. |
