Description of the problem	The clock spring in my 2008 jeep wrangler went out in october, 2010. I took the vehicle to the dealership to inquire about getting the part replaced. I thought that since the clock spring is the part responsible for making the airbag deploy in an accident, it was something that should be serviced free of charge, since my airbags were now rendered useless. The dealership told me there was no such policy, so i was forced to purchase a new clock spring out of pocket. The clock spring was approximately $250 in cost. I installed the clock spring myself, and i discarded the old one, thinking i had no use for it anymore.
