| Description of the problem | The airbag light continually turns on and off in my jeep. This is accompanied with a continuous warning ping that goes off when you are almost out of gas or need something checked asap. This is probably because the airbag will not work and is a safety hazard. 2007 jeeps have a recall for this and it is a faulty coil spring in the steering wheel. Looking on any forum site or even this one and you will see multiple complaints of the same issue. Jeep told me that i would need to pay out of pocket to get this fixed until a recall is issued. Considering my jeep and many others are having this occur well before 100k miles there is an issue with the part that they are putting into the cars. |
