| Description of the problem | 1) i purchased a 2007 jeep wrangler x with 8,650 miles on the vehicle in 2008, kept the vehicle as it was, and it now has 43,000 miles. There were no events leading up to the failure other than standard safe driving practices. 2) the failure is commonly referred to as "death wobble" and is well documented on various websites. The "death wobble" occurs anytime the vehicle reaches 50 mph, and will continue as the speed rises or falls. 3) the problem has not been corrected in my jeep yet, it is being taken in to a private mechanic to be fixed. I have attempted to gain assistance from jeep (to include writing a letter to the president of jeep) with an appalling and insulting response. *ln |
