Description of the problem	Upon driving over an uneven area of pavement (i. E. Train tracks, expansion joint, etc.) steering wheel and front wheels shake violently back and forth. First occurrence in march 2009 at 24,575 miles, dealer determined it was the steering dampener, replaced. Second occurrence in september 2010 at 27,929 miles, dealer replaced the dampener and updated mounting bracket. Third occurrence april 2011 at 33,845 miles (only 5,916 miles on second replacement). Dealer refused to do anything because it was over the 12 month part warranty. Contacted chrysler complaint resolution, same answer. They stated they contacted the dealer who said they refused repair due to "excessive off-road usage". Vehicle has not been used off road since the second replacement and the dealer has not seen the vehicle since then.
