| Description of the problem | The right front brake hose between the frame mount and the connecting point on the brake cylinder, blew out at the snap connection end. This resulted in complete loss of all hydraulic braking ability. The cause of the breakage was due to the brake hose rubbing against the inner tire wall whenever the tires were turned to the full stop position of left or right direction. Both ( right and left ) break hoses rub the inside of the tires. Had i been driving at the time, there is no doubt that an accident would have occurred possibly causing injury or even death to people. As it was, the line blew when i stepped on the brake to shift into gear. I was in a parking lot. I do have pictures available plus the damaged part for review. |
