| Description of the problem | When filling up my fuel tank on my 2007 jeep wrangler at any gas station an alarming amount of gasoline gushes out of the fuel filler neck after the fuel pump has automatically shut off. I do not recalling this happening when the vehicle was new, it's only recently that this has occurred. Probably started around 8 months ago. It does not appear to be gas pump specific, i've tried approximately 20 different gas stations over the amount of time that this has been occurring. Fuel spills out onto the vehicle, the ground and also myself. Sometimes to the point that i've had to change clothes due to fuel splashing onto my garments. |
