| Description of the problem | When trying to do a complete fill-up of fuel, the pump will shut off as it should, and then a moderate amount of fuel will "burp" out of the opening. It spills down the side of the vehicle and on to the ground. Unsafe, unpleasant, and environmentally irresponsible. This is a recurring problem. The jeep had no issues for over two years, since fall of 2009 it has been occurring, will do it everytime i do a full fill-up, no matter what gas station i use. I no longer do full fill-ups as a result, which makes it difficult to properly track fuel economy. |
