Description of the problem	While traveling with the cruise control engaged, as i was ascending a turn on a steep grade, the transmission downshifted from 4th to 2nd gear abruptly. When this occurred, the esp light on the dash lit up and the engine shut off. I pulled off the freeway to check under the hood, but didn't see anything wrong. I re-started the engine and everything was fine. Took it to the dealer when i returned home from the trip and they checked the ecu and no warnings came up. *jb
