| Description of the problem | The airbag light on my 2007 jeep wrangler constantly lights up and chimes about every 20-30 seconds. There wasn't an incident that caused this to start happening, it just started doing it one day. I believe the problem is a faulty clockspring in the steering column which, i also believe will prevent the driver airbag from deploying in the event of an accident. I have not done anything, as of yet, to get this repaired. I have been hoping there would be a recall to correct this problem seeing that many jeep wrangler owners are experiencing the same safety issue. |
