Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep wrangler 2-dr 4x4r hd. The contact was driving approximately 35 mph when there was a sudden loss of steering control without warning. The contact was able to safely maneuver the vehicle from the roadway and noticed that the steering shaft was detached. The contact temporarily repaired the steering shaft and reattached it to the gear box. The vehicle was later taken to an independent mechanic where the steering shaft was replaced.
