| Description of the problem | Had clockspring replaced at about 40,000 miles because the airbag light was coming on. Jeep now has about 69,000 miles on it and the clockspring went bad again. Had it replaced again to fix the airbag light problem. This is an extremely common occurance on this vehicle and could easily cause death in a collision if the airbag did not depoy due to a manufacturer's defect. Nhtsa and/or jeep should have a recall. |
