| Description of the problem | The low oil light came on after rounding a corner. About two weeks later low oil light came on upon braking while leaving the parking lot and the engine stalled. This occurred two more times while stoping at red traffic lights. The next day on the way to get the oil changed the behavior was the same. If the jeep deaccelerated too quickly, or went around a sharp corner the low oil light came on and the the engine stalled. After the first stall, that happened at a stop sign, the engine had difficulty starting. I needed to try three times before it started. After the oil change it is ok. The dealership told me it is normal that some engines need to have oil added, one quart, between oil changes. I told them that was not true and this was an unsafe defect. |
