Description of the problem	This 2. 4l multi-air engine consumes excessive amounts of oil. There is no "low pressure" indication unless the motor is a couple quarts low and hard cornering or stopping, and in those circumstances the engine stalls out. This first occurred a couple of months after purchase, the dealership gave me a tsb printout recommending i keep a quart of oil on hand. Since then every oil change i have been low and i've added about one quart per thousand miles like the tsb indicates but it is starting to consume it worse. When i purchased this vehicle i was told that oil changes were substantially further apart and the vehicle would let me know when to do so, yet there is no indication that i am low or out.
