Description of the problem	On 4 occasions now since owning my jeep renegade the vehicle will jerk, check enhine light comes on, and the vehicle will lock in 3rd gear. I try to switch to manual shift and will not shift. I purchased this vehicle with 50 miles, and now over 28,000 miles with reoccurring problems. On instance the vehicle light warning comes on indicating all of the lights are out in the vehicle, and the light build indicator will remain for a short period of time, and cut off. The dealership has replaced the transmission computer on the first instance, replaced the bsm on the second occasion, and since then 2 software updates. This vehicle is defective in some way and fca needs to address these ongoing issues that are a huge safety concern.
