Description of the problem | My air in my 2016 jeep renegade stopped working right at the 41,000/ 42,000 milage mark. I tried to replace the freon myself, as i thought it was an easy fix, not so. You have to purchase the new freon and have special tools to access it. I then began researching. Seems this model / make is known to run out of freon right after the warranty. You heard me... After the warranty! Plus, they make it so you have to take it to the shop. I have been a loyal jeep customer for years, but this has me frustrated and pissed quite frankly. It is ridiculous! Fix the problem if you know it is happening.... But it is a money maker. I will be spreading the word on every social media site i can get my hands on. I am also bbb'ing this horrible experience. Oh, and the local dealers can not stock the freon, due to the exorbitant price. Screwing the customers as usual! |
