Description of the problem	Vehicle in motion on the i-90s in buffalo, ny. Sudden loss of mechanical power to my front wheel drive 2016 jeep renegade sport (standard transmission). This occurred on 6/23 at 1:30am following a concert. Driver and passenger were in danger due to a sudden loss of mechanical power to the car and were forced to pull over on a restricted highway overpass. Dealer, west herr (orchard park) quoted fuel pump assembly - mopar (68312374aa) needed to be replaced after a vehicle engine stall at 52092/60,000 (power-train warranty). Replacement of part not covered via power-train as the fuel pump assembly merely contributes to the covered gas engine. Very disappointing to a new owner that had bought used and experienced a significant part replacement which should last the lifetime of the vehicle.
