| Description of the problem | On sunday, jan 26, 2020, i was driving from eagle river, ak to joint base elmendorf-richardson on the glenn highway. I noticed that the hood of my 2017 jeep patriot was bouncing. I reduced my speed and moved into the far right lane until i was able to exit the highway safely. When i pulled into the parking lot on base, i found that the hood release had popped, but the safety latch was still engaged. I released the safety lock, raised the hood and then closed it.. I then took my patriot to the jeep dealer in anchorage and they checked it out and told me that it was safe to drive my jeep. |
