Description of the problem	I was stopped at a red light after exiting the interstate. The light turned green, i pressed the gas and the car accelerated for a few seconds and the. The wheels quit spinning and the engine light lit up on the dash. I was in the road nearly being missed by other cars and i was only able to get my car out of the road by turning of the car and cranking it back to move a few feet repeatedly until i reached a side road. I had the car towed to a highly rated repair shop and was told an electrical part inside the cvt transmission had failed, this was not due to failure to maintain the vehicle, and this was a design flaw within the cvt transmission. The repair is estimated to be $5194. 28. Estimate is attached.
