| Description of the problem | On 06/20/2019, car began to have sporadic acceleration problems. No check engine light appeared at first but by middle of day, check engine alert came on. Immediately afterwards, vehicle would not accelerate past 20 mph. Drove vehicle directly to mechanic with hazard lights on driving at speeds between 15-20 mph. Mechanic worked on vehicle repairs following day (06/21/2019) and replaced throttle body & throttle body gasket. Vehicle did not have acceleration problems after repairs. |
