Description of the problem	2016 jeep patriot with 38k miles will randomly quit accelerating which causes loss of power, steering control, etc. The red lightning bolt (electronic throttle control) will intermittently come on and flash. Diagnosed at local jeep dealership who said the throttle body needs replacing at a cost of $1000 and is not covered under any jeep warranty - whether the basic or the extended that covers emission systems.
