Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2016 jeep patriot. While driving 45 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to greenwood auto (659 s high st, cortland, oh 44410, (330) 637-1055) where it was diagnosed that the crank sensor wiring harness failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there were no recalls for the failure. The failure mileage was 89,280..*bf consumer stated engine shut off while driving. The 1st time consumer was driving 10mph in the engine shut off while shutting. Consumer immediately hit the brakes. One week later, while driving at 55mph consumer pressed the accelerator slightly and immediately the engine shut off. Consumer made several attempt to restart the engine and was stranded for 20 minutes on the road. Consumer took it to the dealer and was told it is the exact part that has been under recall for other jeep patriots. When the consumer called the manufacturer for her vehicle, she was told her vehicle was not part of the recall. Consumer would like to be reimbursed for the repair.
