| Description of the problem | While driving, the check engine light, the electronic throttle sensor light and the abs light came on. As a result, the engine loses power, the transmission is choppy and i cant drive faster than 20-30 miles per hour. If i turn the car off and restart, the sensor light and abs light goes off, the check engine light stays on and the car runs normal. After five minutes, the aforementioned lights come back on and the engine returns to its subnormal running conditions. There is no specific explanation for this problem and according to jeep's forums, it is a common problem among all jeep models. |
