Description of the problem	Vehicle began stalling while driving without warning, stalled on busy roads, on hills, turning corners, ect. Stalling occurred at infrequent intervals. Sometimes 3 times a day, then wouldn't happen for a few weeks. Sometimes the traction control light would come on after the stalling. Sometimes the car would start right back up when i put it in park or neutral and turned the key, but then die again after traveling 50-100 feet. Mechanics unable to diagnosis problem because no engine light would come on and no error report was generated . Finally, after 2 months of trouble, the car finally showed an engine error code after stalling. Code was for the crankshaft sensor. Had it repaired for $162. 40. Very dangerous situation when your car dies in heavy traffic and there is no area to safely coast to out of the way of danger. Always fearful of getting rear-ended. Mechanics can't fix the problem because they don't know what the cause is until there is an engine light on. There are complaints on the internet about it, but jeep hasn't warned customers of the problem.
