| Description of the problem | Nexen n5000 2115/65/r17 tire tread seems to melt away or peel up and causes excessive use of the brakes. They were added at 36043 miles and at 59644 i was told to replace the times and the brakes. The stated mileage is 65000. 1 tire has a chunk of torn tread that is gone. The other tires seem to be peeling or melting away. Vehicle is a jeep patriot. When first purchased the tires made the breaking faster and sliding was removed in rain, sleet or mountain snow. Now that is all reduced. |
