| Description of the problem | While driving around parking lot vehicle started to run extremely rough almost to the point of stalling. Became very hard to drive including loosing stearing and brake function causing vehicle to loose control and coming to a stop into a bush. Warning lights came on on the dash at the time, traction control light and electric symbol. Dealer stated throttle body needed to be replaced and that it was a common repair they had seen many times. Was not covered under warranty which left me with a $1000 repair bill. Huge safety concern. Called up jeep customer service and they were completely unwilling to cover any costs of the repair or admit there was any issue. Thankfully this issue did not happen while driving on the highway or i could have been seriously hurt. |
