| Description of the problem | After driving on the highway for about 2-3 hours, the transmission overheats and the car speed is forced down to about 35-40 mph. This is very dangerous when vehicles are traveling behind me and the car is effectively slamming on the brakes. While the vehicle may be operating as designed when the transmission overheats, it shouldn't overheat after 2-3 hours of highway driving. I am not hauling heavy cargo or exceeding the posted speed limits. |
