| Description of the problem | My 2014 jeep patriot will not accelerate and has hesitation after acceleration at a stop signal or sign. I use "premium" gas, thinking that regular gas was the issue. I have almost been in 2 separate accidents, one recent situation on 8/13/2018 when my patriot "hesitated" after turning onto a road with oncoming traffic. My vehicle would not accelerate causing the person behind me to "hard brake" to not hit me, as well as the driver behind him. I have only had this vehicle for 4 months and do not feel this is a safe vehicle, especially driving in city traffic. |
