Description of the problem	The electronic throttle control on my 2014 jeep patriot latitude malfunctioned. While attempt to start the vehicle it bang to shake violently and bucked as i attempted to move it forward. The car has fewer than 50,000 miles on it. The electronic throttle control needed to be replaced per the dealers diagnostics. This was not covered under my powertrain warranty and, from what i've heard, is a common issue. I hope this results in a recall as this could have been dangerous had it happened once i was traveling.
