Description of the problem	I've had 2 new 2014 jeep patriots, and the electronic throttle control has failed on both while highway driving at 65mph, leaving cars with no engine power or power steering. Somebody will die one day in this car. I junked the first one after repairing the etc, and now it has happened again on the 2nd one. Please google the subject and see thousands of others w/same issue. Jeep refuses to acknowledge all the way down to the dealership level, and will not repair or replace the defective part. I have had this happen twice on 2 new 015 patriots purchased from the same dealer in marietta, ga. There is something seriously defective in these etcs, and i am lucky my wife and daughter were able to negotiate themselves off the highway without getting maimed or killed. Jeep needs to be brought to acknowledgement, and recall on this very dangerous issue.
