| Description of the problem | My 2014 jeep patriot will not accelerate without having hesitation. The vehicle has 64,000 miles on it. When you press on the gas whether you are moving or stopped, it almost stalls and then has to reset it self to go above 30mph. The etc light comes on and then disappears. This has happened all week. Seeing how many people have had this issue on this site and others, there should definitely be a recall. This is a dangerous and scary situation for a vehicle that is not even 5 years old to slow and/or stop while you are trying to accelerate. |
