Description of the problem	I was driving down the street stopped and proceeded to go up the hill when i pressed on the gas pedal it would not accelerate so i put it in neutral it would rev up but when i put it drive it would not accelerate. So i have taken it to the mechanic to have it evaluated and he said the transmission needs to be replaced it is only 7 years old i think that is crazy. From online forums there have been quite a few patriots that have needed new transmissions with no avail from the manufacturers. I am hoping for a recall on this transmission since i am still paying on this vehicle and cannot afford to buy another and pay out $4200 for a new transmission.
