Description of the problem	Over the past 2 years, the jeep patriot will stutter when shifting gears. It has progressively gotten worse. I had a mechanic look at it twice and he believes that the only fix is to replace the transmission. Once i got online, i found that many people have had the same issue the the cvt transmission used in these vehicles. Additionally, jeep must know that the cvt is flawed, because they stopped the use of it in 2014.
