Description of the problem	I purchased this vehicle last fall in a private sale. The vehicle appeared to be in good condition and well taken care of. About two weeks after acquiring this vehicle, i was driving along the interstate on a 50 minute trip and the vehicle began to slow down despite being on cruise control. The transmission light came on and i pulled to the side of the road where i waited for 10 minutes and begain driving again. Since this incident in the fall of 2016, the same thing has happened about 10-15 times-including today, a rainy 70 degree day driving the nearly flat route from lincoln to omaha nebraska. I understand jeep has come forward to say this is not a mountain traveling vehicle (very strange jeep because, well it's a trail rated jeep after all). Not only is this a nuisance that i cannot drive my work route for 45 minutes without having to pull off of the road at least once but everytime i do, it puts me in a life jeopardizing situation on the side of the interstate where the speed limit is 75mph. This issue needs to be resolved by jeep. I know others are having similar issues because google was able to guess the problem after typing only the words "2011 jeep patriot." please address the problem, jeep, and make this right for everyone who continues to invest and support your (typically) wonderful products.
