Description of the problemThree times our 2011 jeep patriot sounded like something broke then went into limp mode. We were on a busy freeway twice and getting ready to get on once. After calling good sam roadside assistance they sent a tow truck to a mechanic. We had two different mechanics at 2 different times and they could not get any codes on it. A few years back when on a different incident we went into limp mode and ended up replacing the control module which fixed it. This time was different. I was done after three times. We ended up trading it in for a new honda crv. Will never buy another jeep again. We are surprised they never recalled the problem with the control module. I have all receipts and proof
