Description of the problem	Within 7 years in a rust belt state the jeeps crossmember is so rusted its no longer safe to drive. My jeep has been sitting parked for two years because i don't have the money to repare this horrible rust damage, only to find out there has been an extended warranty for this since 2017, i was not informed because its not a recall.. This was known by chester/jeep since the 2007 model, i'm glad they at least offer a 10 year extended warranty for the crossmemeber, however thats not good enough. People need to be made aware that their vehicle may snap in half with little or no warning to the average driver. This is just as serious as a seat belt or airbag malfunction and yet this isn't a recall? This should be a recall. The american people have a right to know their vehicle is not safe, a recall is the only way that information will spread fast and far enough to matter and possibly save lives, not just a few dollars.
