| Description of the problem | The rear suspension crossmember has rusted out and failed on this vehicle. There are perforated holes in the subframe and rust all over this part. The underside of the unibody is in excellent condition. This is an obvious use of substandard steel or metal coatings for the part which led to its failure jeep needs to be held accountable for using substandard steel in its production which create a hazard to everyone on the roadways. If this was a toyota, they would replace it no questions asked even if it was out of warranty and there wasnt an nhtsa recall issued. |
