| Description of the problem | When filling the car with gas at the pump, it fails to shut off when full and pours from the tank nozzle neck and splashed down the side of the car as well as the individual filling the tank with gas. The only reason that the gas ceases to flow out of the tank is due the safety feature of the pump nozzle when it shuts down. After researching this problem online, i have learned that it is a common occurrence with this model jeep. The is not an occasional occurrence, but one which happens every time the car is filled regardless of how the pump nozzle is place in the filler neck. |
