Description of the problem	My 2008 patriot's front crossmember is rusting through. Chrysler has extended the warranty to cover this exact problem on the 2007 patriots, but has not acknowledged the problem on the 2008 model. The crossmember supports the engine and transmission. If it were to fail in motion the results would be catastrophic.
