| Description of the problem | When filling gas tank, pump turns off after every 1/4 gallon of gas, due to faulty integral gas tank vent valve. Occasionally resulting from over fill and spilling gas onto ground. This is a common problem with this model of jeep that no amount of maintenance could prevent. Jeep's response to my complaint was to remind me my vehicle was out of warranty, but should i have it repaired [$600 to $1000 for new gas tank and condenser] to save the receipt in case there is a future recall for this problem. |
