| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep patriot. While attempting to fuel the vehicle, the fuel repeatedly stopped pumping and the tank failed to fill. The failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the vent pipe failed and the fuel tank needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.
