Description of the problem	After filling the gas tank in my 2008 jeep patriot, it will immediately start to "chug" or even have the engine stall completely. This will happen while sitting still or even while driving down the road. Very dangerous!!! My mechanic says this is a known issue with chrysler/jeep. He is right. The problems are documented all over the internet. Of course, the only fix is to have the entire gas tank replaced which needless to say, is very expensive. Jeep/chrysler should take responsibility for this known defect.
