| Description of the problem | A week after purchasing the 2008 jeep patriot from a used car dealership the jeep stalled after filling up the tank. I called the dealer and he said to put dry gas in the tank. I did and the jeep would jerk a few times after refueling. On 1/14/15 the jeep stalled in the middle of a busy street minutes after my 17 year old filled the tank. Thank god she did not get into an accident. This is extremely dangerous since the jeep stalled without warning. I took the jeep to my mechanic but he couldn't identify the issue. I know there are jeep owners who are experiencing the same problem and the manufacturer is doing nothing about it. Please investigate before someone gets into a fatal accident. |
