| Description of the problem | As i was driving home from work in a thunderstorm at 2am on the highway at 65 miles per hour, the dome light began pouring water like a waterfall all over me, the radio, the shifter, and my iphone which was in the cup holder. The next day i called the local dealer to enact my 5 year 50,000 mile warranty and schedule service. I was informed that they do not have anyone available to work on my leak until 3 weeks from now. Additionally the service is not under warranty as window seals are only covered for 3 years 35,000 miles. My concern is not only one of bad customer service from jeep's point of view, but also safety as it is very distracting to drive while being soaked with water. The water could also cause other damages to the vehicle which could result in a crash or fire. *js |
