| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep patriot. When gasoline was added to the vehicle, the fuel gauge read full and within a few minutes it displayed an empty reading. He experienced the failure for more than eight months. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who indicated they could not repair the vehicle until they received notification from the manufacturer. The contact called the manufacturer and filed report 19667705. They advised him to take the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 29,000 and the current mileage was 42,000. |
